Our Mission
Heartland Geocachers are an informal group of geocachers that live and cache along Interstate 65 in Kentucky from Louisville
to Bowling Green. The group is a sub-group under GEOCKY that promotes events and geocaching trips on a local level.
Becoming a Member
To become a member: Simply come to one of our events and you are in. We would like it if you give us your e-mail,
that way we can keep in touch.
Quarterly Events
We plan on having quarterly events along
the I-65 corridor. We ask for volunteers to sponsor these events using one of the two formats below:
(EZ) This is
a simple format where someone provides a venue for an event and post it to Geocaching.com . These types of events are usually
done on a weekday evening without event caches or door prizes.
(DX) This type
of event is your usual full-blown event, usually with event caches and door prizes. This type of event is usually held on
a weekend.
We need someone for the 1st and 2nd quarters of 2008. If
you have question or would like to volunteers, contact the e-mail at the bottom of this page.
Events can be held on any of the three months within the quarter
1st Quarter - Jan, Feb, March
2nd Quarter - April, May, June
3rd Quarter - July, Aug, Sept
4th Quarter - Oct, Nov, Dec
